1994

Designed the first Reinforced Concrete core-wall and outriggers structure; upon completion, it was the tallest building in Indonesia. The 52-story Amartapura Residential Towers uses high strength concrete grade of 60 MPa when the industry standard was still at 25 – 35 MPa.

1995

Designed The Gran Mahakam hotel with the top-down construction method, excavating 11-meters deep just 1.5 metres away from two-to-three-story neighbouring buildings.

2003

Utilized sacrificial cell method to load test bored-piles for The Pakubuwono Residence.

2004

The City Tower office set the record for construction speed of multi-story building by completing 30-story structure in four months. The office was built using a composite structural system, comprising concrete-filled tube columns and composite steel trusses as the floor system.

2006

Designed the Plaza Indonesia Extension, the first building designed using the up-down construction method in Indonesia. The two residential and office towers, 48 and 42 stories high, contained six-level podiums and five-level basements. This project was completed in 36 months, saving a massive 11 months of construction time.

2010

Designed the 25-story Gudang Garam office tower, the first base-isolated tall building in Southeast Asia. A similar base-isolation approach was subsequently utilised for the construction of 27-story Puri Matahari Tower in 2012.

2012

Carried out a Performance-Based Seismic Design for the 50-story Pakubuwono Signature tower. This project advanced the State-of-Practice for Seismic Design in Indonesia, and the paper on it was published in International Journal of High-Rise Buildings Volume 1 Number 3 issued by Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitats.

2014

Designed the super-tall, 63-story Indonesia-1 tower. Standing 303 meters tall, it was constructed using the unequal height synchronous rise method for the tower and the top-down method for the 7-level deep basement. The lateral system of the tower consists of Reinforced Concrete core-walls with outrigger and composite steel beams as the floor system.

2016

Designed the JIExpo Convention Centre and Theater; a world-class theatre and acoustical facility, which can hold up to 2,500 seating capacity. The design consists of long-span steel trusses with a complex transfer system, constructed using the heavy-lifting method.
