KITIC Logistic Park, CIKARANG

Located in the well-established industrial area in Cikarang, the KITIC Logistic Park is a large warehouse project on 6 hectares site area developed by ESR. The development consists of two warehouse blocks with a total building construction area of approximately 36,000 sqm.

The project comes with numerous challenging design criteria, including heavy-duty warehouse floor loading requirement with very stringent FM2 (flatness and levelness) floor performance requirements, tall height clearance requirements of 10.5 m with long-spanning (up to 20 m) roof framing systems.

The soil in the site area is known to have expansive characteristics, requiring specific design evaluation and approach. Full compliance with the latest and more stringent building code requirements is also one of the most important design criteria to follow.

Davy Sukamta & Partners worked together with ESR to develop a design scheme that can fully comply with the new seismic code provisions while observing budget and cost-efficiency. Adhering to the latest seismic code SNI 1726: 2019, the structural system is developed with inherent seismic-resistant features including a robust roof diaphragm system.

The design of the roof structure also incorporated the stringent roof live load requirements in the recently-established Indonesian National Standard minimum loading requirements.
