The NICE project is located in Pantai Indah Kapuk 2. This future MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) complex consists of three building masses, each featuring an exhibition hall ranging from approximately 12,960 square meters to 20,800 square meters. These buildings are connected by a 397-meter-long atrium stretching from west to east. The steel roof dimensions for Buildings 1 and 2 are identical at 104 x 202 meters, though the roof heights differ, at 24 meters and 20 meters above the ground floor, respectively. Building 3 features a smaller roof, measuring 72 x 180 meters and rising 20 meters above the ground floor. The total construction floor area is around 325,000 square meters.
A 5-meter-high space truss system will be fabricated and welded on the ground floor before being erected in a single lift. Utilizing high-grade SM 490YB steel, the typical diameter of the ball joints is approximately 400–600 mm, connecting individual tubular pipes with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 350 mm.
Spun piles with a diameter of 600 mm have been selected to support the five-story reinforced concrete (RC) building. Due to the very soft topsoil conditions, which result in low lateral capacity, the piles are designed to have a balanced capacity for lateral and vertical load.
