Situated in a prominent site in the Jakarta CBD, adjacent to Plaza Indonesia and behind the Japanese Embassy building, the Indonesia-1 Tower is currently Indonesia’s tallest twin towers. Standing at more than 300-metres, the supertall twin towers rise from a 19,000 square metre site and provide 310,000 square metres of offices, retail space, service apartments, and underground parking.

Davy Sukamta & Partners was appointed as the geotechnical and structural engineering consultant. The Project was comprised of a 63-storey and 1-storey mezzanine North Tower, and a 54-storey plus 6-storey mezzanine South Tower. The 7 basement levels were constructed with a semi top-down method. It was the deepest basement in Indonesia at the time of its completion. Coupled core wall and outriggers were selected as structural system. The floor system is made up of composite steel beams and a reinforced concrete slab on a metal deck.
