The Chrysant tower is the second phase development of the Rajawali Condominium on a 2.8-hectare land area. This 39-storey apartment – designed as a 47-storey – with a 1-level basement, offers 1,600 units on a total floor area of approximately 59,000 square metres. A typical floor area is 1,500 square metres per floor.
The construction time (18 months) guided the method of construction while putting the cost factor as the main priority. We efficiently used the tunnel-form system to construct the load bearing wall and employed flat slabs as the gravity system, and the jump form system to build the core walls. The fundamental period of the building is 4.4 seconds, reflecting the structure is rigid and performs well in wind induced motion.
The total construction cost was 21.5 million USD.
