Transpark Juanda was built with a fast-track construction program, providing integrated development for residential areas, lifestyle, entertainment, education, finance and, business – all in one huge complex. Davy Sukamta & Partners was able to complete the whole design in one year, with many design revisions from the client requiring an immediate response while maintaining a smooth construction progress.

This huge complex stands on a vast 370,955 square metre development area and is situated in Jalan Juanda in Bekasi. The project comprises a 6-storey mall with 2 indoor theme parks, 5 towers of 32-storey tall apartment providing 4,900 units, a 14-storey tall campus building, an 18-storey hotel tower, 4 units of 4-storey offices, 19 units of 3-storey shophouses, and 5 units of 2-storey shophouses on top of a 2-level basement constructed for parking.

Transpark Juanda was developed by Alfa Retalindo and designed by a Singaporean architectural company, DP Architects.

The Trans Park Mall features one whole floor of a Snow World theme park, where people can experience real snowfall. The theme park contains ski slopes, mountain huts and a chair lift that transports people to the ‘Alpine Mountain’.

The exterior walls are designed for aesthetics. Part of the façade is covered with an LED screen and other second skin elements with a supporting steel frame. This complex steel structure required an extremely detailed design.
